The fitness of Moussa Sissoko and Jan Vertonghen will be assessed ahead of Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League semi-final, first leg clash with Ajax.

Midfielder Moussa suffered a groin injury during the second leg of our memorable quarter-final at Manchester City earlier this month while defender Jan has had a thigh issue and sat out of Saturday’s Premier League defeat to West Ham.

Both players trained with the squad today (Monday) and will be assessed to determine their possible involvement against the Dutch giants in our mouth-watering last-four meeting at the new stadium.

Forwards Heung-Min Son and Vincent Janssen will both miss Tuesday’s match. Son serves a one-game suspension for amassing two yellow cards in the Champions League while Vincent is ineligible to feature in the competition.

Serge Aurier (hamstring), Harry Kane (ankle), Erik Lamela (hamstring) and Harry Winks (groin) remain unavailable.

Kick-off is at 8pm.
