Club to compete in 2019 Audi Cup

Our First Team will take part in the sixth edition of the prestigious Audi Cup in July as part of our preparations ahead of the 2019/20 season.

Audi, the Club's Official Car Partner since August 2018, host the tournament every two years at the Allianz Arena in Munich and we will compete this summer alongside Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Fenerbahce.

We open the tournament on Tuesday 30 July against Real Madrid, kick-off 5pm (UK time), with Bayern facing Fenerbahce the same day at 7.30pm (UK time).

The third/fourth place match and final will follow on Wednesday 31 July with kick-offs at 5pm and 7.30pm (UK time), respectively.

All fixtures are played over 90 minutes and go immediately to a penalty shootout in the event of a draw to determine the winner.

The Audi Cup was first held a decade ago in 2009 to mark the centenary of the establishment of the Audi brand.

This will be our second participation in the tournament having also competed in the 2015 edition alongside Real, Bayern and AC Milan.
