Mauricio Pochettino has been handed a big fitness boost ahead of Monday night’s clash with Manchester City by the return of Dele Alli.

The England international midfielder has returned to training after a hamstring problem and is available for selection for the 8pm kick-off at Wembley Stadium.

Dele hasn’t featured since memorably scoring the winning penalty on his return to his former home ground as we dispatched Watford from the Carabao Cup at Stadium MK on 26 September.

In other team news, defenders Jan Vertonghen (hamstring) and Danny Rose (groin) are progressing with their rehabilitation.
