Erik Lamela has returned to training and is available for selection against Barcelona in our mouth-watering Champions League showdown in the Nou Camp on Tuesday.
The Argentine attacker has been out with a thigh problem since our 1-0 win over Inter on matchday five at the end of November.
Mauricio Pochettino has a decision to make at right-back, though. Serge Aurier, who was forced off in the latter stages of Saturday's Premier League win at Leicester, is being assessed by our medical staff over a groin problem and has not travelled to Barcelona while Kieran Trippier (also groin) is undergoing an individual preventive and conditioning programme.
“Serge is going to have a scan today, he’s going to be out,” Mauricio reported. “We think it’s a small problem. We assessed him yesterday but we need to confirm that with the scan.
“We hope it’s not going to be a big issue and that he’s back as soon as possible.”
On Erik, the manager added: “He's back and it’s always important that the players are fit to create a problem in my head about the starting XI.”
Mousa Dembele (ankle), Juan Foyth (hamstring and ineligible), Georges-Kevin Nkoudou (ineligible) Davinson Sanchez (hamstring) and Victor Wanyama (knee) have not travelled to Spain.
Kick-off on Tuesday is at 8pm UK time.
