Under-21s set for Cheltenham test
Our Under-21s return to action following the extended international window with a trip to Gloucestershire to take on Cheltenham Town in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night (7pm BST, live on Sky Sports+).
After coming up short at Exeter City in our opening match in Southern Group A last month, Wayne Burnett’s side will need a positive result against the League Two outfit to maintain hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages.
We faced the Robins at the EV Charger Points Stadium in the same competition last season, twice coming back from a goal down to draw 2-2 before ultimately losing on penalties.
Steve Cotterill’s men went down to a 2-0 home defeat to Salford City at the weekend, but are only outside the League Two play-off places on goal difference.
Supporters will be able to watch Tuesday evening’s match live in the UK on Sky Sports+, while live text updates will be available via our Match Centre here on the Club website and app.
Ticket information for fans wishing to attend the game live can be found here.
