FPL | Spurs Gameweek 6 Preview
With the international break coming to an end, Fantasy Premier League managers will be looking at how the first-ever three-week window would have impacted their teams ahead of Gameweek 6.
We have teamed up with Fantasy Football Scout to help bring you hints, tips and advice during the 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season.
Scout will be using their expertise to provide advice and gameweek tips which should prove useful in ensuring you win your mini-leagues.
As we prepare to face Manchester United at Old Trafford in GW6, Scout take look at how some of our players have performed through the first five weeks of the FPL season.
Best of Spurs
Jan Paul van Hecke (£4.9m) and Conor Gallagher (£5.3m) were our top FPL points-scoring players in the Gameweek 5 fixture against Aston Villa. JP and Conor both scored, bringing in six-point returns.
Mohammed Kudus (£6.5m) came off the bench at half-time to register an assist, his first Premier League attacking return since his injury back in January.
In fact, Mo was unlucky not to have scored in this fixture, having had a goal just ruled out by VAR. At just 0.2 per cent ownership, he looks an excellent differential for managers to invest in.
Andy Robertson (£4.4m) also picked up his first attacking return in the league for us with an assist to secure a four-point return, while Rodrigo Bentancur (£5.5m) also scored four points having registered defensive contribution points for the second time this season.
Midfielders register defensive contribution points if they complete 12 or more defensive actions in a single match. Rodrigo registered an impressive 17 defensive actions in this fixture, and he also registered 17 against Nottingham Forest in Gameweek 3.
The Uruguay international has been unlucky not to register more defensive contribution points this season, having narrowly missed out against Newcastle and Everton, where he registered 11 and 10 defensive actions.
Since the Gameweek 5 fixture, there have been several excellent performances from our players over the international break.
Mathys Tel’s (£5.7m) hat-trick for the French Under-21s squad in their final game of the break will have caught the eye of many FPL managers, as had it been an FPL match, he would have registered 20 points.
Spotlight: Savio (£6.5m)
Savio has made three Premier League appearances for us since arriving from Manchester City at the back end of the summer.
The winger has had six shots so far, with five coming from inside the box. He is currently averaging a shot every 40.2 minutes in the league.
He has also supplied 20 crosses, which only Andy can beat across the team with 24, and he also leads the way for successful crosses across our team.
The Brazilian has created a team-leading nine chances for his teammates, creating a chance for his teammates every 27 minutes.
Our number 17 has been involved in 33 per cent of the chances we have created whilst he has been on the pitch, which is a team-leading tally.
Savio has also had a shot share of 14 per cent whilst on the field of play, which only three of our squad can better.
Additionally, he has been involved in more chances than any other Spurs player, being directly involved in 36 per cent of the chances (shots and chances created) that we have had in the Premier League so far this season.
The 22-year-old also leads the way for expected assists (xA) for us in the league and is second only to JP for expected goal involvement (xGI) to date.
Savio’s underlying metrics suggest that he could be an excellent differential for managers to invest in ahead of Gameweek 6.
Spurs’ most popular FPL asset
Antonin Kinksy (£4.5m), who registered his first senior cap for his country over the international break, is once again the most transferred-in Spurs player ahead of the deadline on Saturday morning.
Toni’s growing appeal comes from his good route to points in FPL. Our shot-stopper has registered two clean sheets already this season and has also made 21 saves, which have seen him pick up a save point in three of the opening five fixtures of the season.
Hidden Gem
Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite (£5.5m) could be a hidden gem for FPL managers in the coming weeks.
Branthwaite and the Everton defence have registered three clean sheets this season, the tied most in the league, with the defender having also registered 54 defensive actions which have resulted in six additional defensive contribution points.
The centre-back, who has also had some attacking threat, having had three shots in the league so far, is owned by just 2.5 per cent of FPL managers.
The deadline for transfers ahead of Gameweek 6 is on Saturday, 10 October at 11am UK time.
