In a competitive battle on Merseyside, we made it four points from our opening two games in the Women’s Super League as the Reds fought back to pick up a point at St Helens Stadium.
Signe Gaupset’s deflected cross gave us the lead at the break but Liverpool, who created a number of opportunities throughout the 90 minutes, found a leveller just before the hour mark and in truth, should have taken all the three points if it wasn’t for some fantastic saves from Lize Kop.
