Three to watch | Forest
A new feature for 2026/27, where we'll select three players from our opponents to keep a close eye on.
Next up, it's Forest in the Premier League on Saturday, where a new-look side under former Palace boss Oliver Glasner waits for us at the City Ground...
Morgan Gibbs-White
No surprises for starting this list with Gibbs-White, the conductor of the Forest orchestra for the last four seasons. He's already racked up 33 goals and 31 assists in the Premier League for the Reds, including an impressive 15 goals last season. Indeed, no-one has scored more than his 13 in the competition in 2026. Particularly effective in the central forward areas, in a 10 role or striker, Gibbs-White has the eye for a pass needed for Forest's clinical counter-attacks and, as the stats show, the ability to finish - he was on target against us last season.
Nikola Milenković
A commanding central defender, Milenković has been a rock at the back for Forest since signing from Fiorentina in 2024. Since then, the Serbia international has played in all-but one of Forest's Premier League matches, ever-present in his first campaign, 37 out of 38 last season. Standing 6ft 5ins, Milenković tends to just head away anything that comes into Forest's box and, naturally, he's a threat at the other end from set-pieces - he weighed in with five goals in 2024/25. Capped 71 times by Serbia.
Daniel Munoz
The perfect illustration of Munoz's powers from his right wing-back role came on the biggest stage. Watch back the 2025 FA Cup Final and you'll see the Colombia international fly down the right against City before delivering an inch-perfect cross for Eberechi Eze to volley home the winning goal. Previously at Genk, Munoz added Community Shield and UEFA Conference League medals to his mantelpiece with Oliver Glasner at Palace, and it was no surprise to see Glasner swoop at Forest this summer. Capped 51 times by Colombia, he registered eight goals and 12 assists in 83 PL appearances for Palace, and scored at this summer's World Cup.
