Mo Kudus could make his long-awaited return to the playing squad as we take on Newcastle in the Premier League on Saturday (5.30pm UK).
The Ghana international winger made such an impressive start to his Spurs career last season, but has been laid low due to injury since the turn of the year – his last appearance against Sunderland on 4 January.
Micky, meanwhile, needed treatment late in our Carabao Cup win against Charlton in his first appearance of the season off the bench on Wednesday night, where Pedro Porro also came off the bench for his first minutes of the campaign and new arrival Sávio burst onto the scene with a goal 11 minutes into his debut, also off the bench.
Asked for team news in his pre-match press conference on Friday, specifically if the likes of Sávio, Micky and new signing Omar Marmoush would be ready to start, Roberto replied: “Yes, we are all in the right condition to play.
“Maybe Kudus can come on the bench, we have to see. Van de Ven is right to play. We have to look, we have to understand at the beginning part of the game, like Sávio, like Pedro. Marmoush is available to play, maybe also at the beginning of the game.”
