Special recognition for Ledley at OzSpurs' 25th anniversary celebration
Ledley King was presented with honorary membership of OzSpurs at our Australian OSC's 25th anniversary celebrations in Sydney on Thursday evening, local time.
Our legendary former skipper and current Club Ambassador was clearly touched by the gesture as he received his membership card from OzSpurs President, Sean Bielski.
Sean said: "Ledley has supported OzSpurs so many times it only seemed right that he became an honorary member. The support he has given us, not only this week, but for many years now is so appreciated by every member, and he is now 'one of our own'!”
Ledley added: "I've made a number of trips to Australia with the club, spent a lot of time with OzSpurs and recognise what an impressive organisation they are. To be presented with honorary membership is something special, and I'd like to thank Sean and the committee for that and for all the work they do in bringing our fans together here."

Formed in 2002, OzSpurs now has 13 'chapters' of fans around this vast country - Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Central Coast, Darwin, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney, Tasmania and Wollongong.
Most of the chapters were represented at the special anniversary dinner at Rydges, Central Sydney, where Ledley joined OzSpurs members for a meal and a Q&A on stage.
