Rodrigo Bentancur has been called up by Uruguay for this summer's FIFA World Cup.

The midfielder was named in his nation's squad on Friday evening by former Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa.

With 73 caps and three goals to his name so far, this will be the third World Cup of his career.

Uruguay have been drawn into Group H for the tournament and will kick-off their campaign against Saudi Arabia in Miami, USA, on Monday 15 June. They will then take on Cape Verde (21 June) and Spain (27 June).
