1952Â Â Â We beat Huddersfield Town by the only goal at the Lane, scored by Len Duquemin.
1994Â Â Â Teddy Sheringham on target as we return from Carrow Road with a 2-1 win over Norwich City.

1901Â Â Â We lose 2-1 at Gravesend United in the Southern League. Bob Stormont is our scorer, his first for the club.
1984Â Â Â Jonathan Blondel born in Ypres, Belgium. He would join us in season 2002-03 but only make the one start.

1896Â Â Â Oswaldtwistle Rovers visit us for a friendly. We win 4-0.
1964   We share nine goals with Ipswich Town at the Lane, winning 6-3. Cliff Jones scores a hat-trick with John White (2) and Jimmy Robertson also on target. We finish fourth in the Division One table that season while Town are relegated.

Swansea City v Spurs, Premier League, at The Liberty Stadium, 7.45pm
1920Â Â Â Jimmy Seed makes his Spurs debut at Wolves where we win 3-1 in Division Two. Arthur Grimsdell (2) and Jimmy Cantrell score.
1999   Roger Nilsen makes his Spurs debut at Newcastle where we draw 1-1 thanks to Darren Anderton’s penalty.

1918Â Â Â We win by the only goal at Millwall in the London Combination. Guest player Ernie Goldthorpe scores.
2002   A penalty for both sides and Teddy Sheringham converts ours – but we lose 2-1 at Highbury.

1982   Graham Roberts scores to earn us a 1-1 home draw with Barcelona in the semi-final of the European Cup Winners’ Cup.
1987   Defender Tim O’Shea makes his Spurs debut at Sheffield Wednesday where Clive Allen’s goal wins it for us.

Spurs v Watford, Premier League, at White Hart Lane, 12.30pm
1901Â Â Â Sandy Brown scores all our goals as we beat West Bromwich Albion 4-0 in the FA Cup semi-final at Villa Park in front of a 46,000 crowd.
1907Â Â Â West Ham hammered 4-0 in the Western League. Alf Whyman nets a hat-trick.

1921Â Â Â Bert Bliss, Jimmy Dimmock, Bert Smith and Arthur Grimsdell all play for England against Scotland.
1995   Everton knock us out of the FA Cup at the semi-final stage with a 4-1 triumph at Elland Road (pictured, above). Jurgen Klinsmann’s penalty is our only success.

2001   Glenn Hoddle’s first game as Spurs manager sees us beat Bradford City 2-1 at White Hart Lane.

1992Â Â Â Andy Gray scores his first Spurs goal in a 2-1 win at QPR. Gordon Durie also nets.
1999Â Â Â We lose 2-0 after extra time to Newcastle United in the FA Cup semi-final at Old Trafford.

1941   A 1-1 draw at home to Arsenal in the Football League War Cup. As a result we went out on a 3-2 aggregate because the Gunners won their ‘home’ game, also played at the Lane!
2014   A 3-3 draw at West Bromwich Albion. We come back from 3-0 down thanks to Harry Kane, an own goal and Christian Eriksen’s 90th minute equaliser.

1900Â Â Â We beat Southampton 2-0 to claim the Southern League title. Player-manager John Cameron scores both.
