Harry Redknapp described Emmanuel Adebayor and Louis Saha as 'unplayable' as we blasted out of the traps in Saturday’s 5-0 win against Newcastle.
It was a dream full debut for Louis with two goals inside the first 20 minutes as we put Newcastle to the sword in the first half and led 4-0 by half-time.
Emmanuel set-up the first goal for Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Louis’ opener as we raced into a 2-0 lead inside six minutes.
Louis drilled home for 3-0 before Emmanuel was denied by Tim Krul only for Niko Kranjcar to bury the rebound for 4-0 at half-time.
Emmanuel finally grabbed the goal his performance deserved to complete the goalscoring in the 64th minute.
“We all felt it would be a tough game but we started so brightly,” said Harry.
“ Adebayor and Saha were unplayable in that early period and it set us up.
“We got the early goals and there was no danger after that. You hope for a start like that, but you can’t expect it.
“The chances came along and we put them away, great finishing.
“We played some fantastic football and overall, it was a great all-round performance.”
