Tour 2016 - Ledley starts Run Melbourne
Ledley King sounded the klaxon for Run Melbourne as up to 20,000 runners - including a team from our official supporters club, OzSpurs - pounded the streets of Melbourne on Sunday morning.
Our legendary former captain and now Club Ambassador received a warm welcome as the thousands of runners passed by the starter's podium at one of the big winter events in Melbourne calendar - with a half-marathon, 10k run and 5k run/walk taking in the city's landmarks including the MCG, AAMI Park, Rod Laver Arena, Federation Square, the Royal Botanical Gardens and Shrine of Remembrance.
Ten members of OzSpurs took up the challenge - Mark Lawson, Gary Clarke, Chloe Clarke, Josh Clarke, Emma-Jane Stephenson, Thomas Crawford-Condie, Ronnie Francis, David Tapping, Christopher Tapping and Neil Roberts.

Mark, President of OzSpurs, explained: "It's amazing to have everyone in the city out for this run with the team here in Melbourne and OzSpurs ready to run, we're all pumped up for this!
"To have a Spurs legend like Ledley King standing in front of thousands of Aussies starting the run is fantastic. We're delighted to have the team here.
"As for the run, it just seemed the perfect start to the week for us!"
