Younes Kaboul has been selected in an initial list of 12 overseas players for France's Euro 2012 squad.
Coach Laurent Blanc named 12 players plying their trade outside of France on Monday.
Younes, enjoying a fine season at Spurs and capped five times by France, is selected alongside Gael Clichy, Patrice Evra, Laurent Koscielny, Philippe Mexes, Adil Ramy, Yohan Cabaye, Florent Malouda, Samir Nasri, Hatem Ben Arfa, Karim Benzema and Franck Ribery.
Blanc will next name his second pre-list of players based in France before submitting his final 23 to UEFA by Thursday, May 29.
