Spurs 2-2 Hull (8-7 penalties) - match gallery

Photos from Wednesday night's all-action Capital One Cup tie at the Lane.

We saw off Hull City in a thrilling encounter, which was decided on penalties after 120 minutes of football ended with the scores level at 2-2.

Gylfi Sigurdsson had fired us ahead in the 16th minute with a truly stunning goal before Curtis Davies’ close-range shot deflected in off Brad Friedel to level it up nine minutes after the interval.

Extra time ensued, and the visitors got themselves in front on 99 minutes through Paul McShane, only for Harry Kane to force a penalty shoot-out when he equalised 10 minutes later.

Goalkeeper Brad Friedel denied Aaron McLean in City’s first spot-kick and then kept out Ahmed Elmohamady in sudden death to see us through 8-7 on penalties.
