Lewis Holtby was in action for German side Hamburg as they secured their survival in the Bundesliga in dramatic fashion on Monday evening.
The on-loan central midfielder started the second leg of his side’s relegation play-off at Karlsruher, eventually being substituted at the mid-way point of the second half.
Hamburg subsequently fell behind but grabbed a stoppage time equaliser before sealing a 2-1 win on the night in extra time.
Lewis also completed 69 minutes in the first leg in Hamburg on Thursday (May 28), which ended 1-1.
