Our Women’s Asian Cup winners are back at Hotspur Way!
Toko Koga and Maika Hamano became champions after Japan defeated host nation Australia 1-0 in the final in Sydney – with the pair claiming their first piece of silverware on the international stage.
Maika was at the heart of Japan’s memorable night as her stunning strike from the edge of the box proved to be the difference to inspire her nation to victory.
After plenty of celebrations across the weekend, our Japan duo have now returned to Hotspur Way on Tuesday (24 March) morning and arrived back at base proudly sporting their medals.
