Sonny up to second all-time Spurs goalscorer in the Premier League

Heung-Min Son's strike against West Ham not only secured a vital victory on Sunday, it was also a significant goal in terms of the Club's marksmen in the Premier League era.

Sonny's clinical finish from Harry Kane's assist made it 2-0 in the 72nd minute, and that's how it stayed at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as we moved up to fourth place.

That was the South Korean star's 98th goal in the Premier League, moving him ahead of Teddy Sheringham and into second on our all-time Premier League goalscoring list. Harry Kane is way ahead in front, having reached 200 goals in the Premier League when he broke Jimmy Greaves' all-time Spurs record of 266 in all competitions with his recent winner against Manchester City.

Sonny is now just two goals away from becoming only the second Spurs player to reach 100 goals in the competition that kicked-off in 1992/93. He's one of only eight players to score 50-plus for us in the Premier League. He will be the league's 34th centurion when he makes it.
