On Tuesday night, we welcome capital rivals West Ham United to north London in the Premier League (8.15pm kick-off).

Once again, while this game will be played behind closed doors, we will be bringing fans as close to the match as possible via our live pre-match broadcast – N17 Live – coming to you directly from the heart of the action at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. West Ham manager David Moyes could have his options boosted ahead of Tuesday night’s encounter as both defender Angelo Ogbonna and midfielder Jack Wilshere have returned to training after their respective injury lay-offs.

Attacking duo Sebastian Haller and Robert Snodgrass, however, have both been ruled out.

West Ham’s form

Prior to the season’s suspension back in March, the Hammers were battling through a difficult period in the league with just one win in their last 10 games. That run, however, did include a spell of tough fixtures, including trips to Liverpool, Leicester City, Manchester City and Arsenal. On Saturday evening, in their first outing after the restart, they slipped to a 2-0 defeat at home to high-flying Wolves.

One to watch

Despite missing a considerable chunk of his side’s campaign through injury, 35-year-old Lukasz Fabianski has, this term, continued to show the sort of qualities between the sticks which had earned him the Hammers' Player of the Season award in 2018/19. A regular fixture in the East End outfit's starting XI following his arrival from Swansea City in 2018, the Polish international has cemented his reputation as a reliable shot stopper.

New faces

To provide cover for Fabianski during his period on the sidelines, the Hammers moved to bring back their former goalkeeper Darren Randolph from Middlesbrough in January. Also adding to their midfield ranks during the winter window, Tomas Soucek joined on loan from Slavia Prague while Jarrod Bowen transferred from Championship outfit Hull City.

A product of our youth system who went on to help us win two FA Cups as well as the UEFA Cup, Chris Hughton certainly earned his footing in the history of our Club as well as in the hearts of our fans during his time as a Lilywhite. A full-back in the successful years of the 1980s and one of our all-time greats, Chris had joined us at the age of just 13 before journeying from amateur to professional football – via an apprenticeship as a lift engineer – and went on to make almost 400 appearances for us in a trophy-laden period.

Leaving us in 1990, brief promotion-yielding spells followed for the former Republic of Ireland international at West Ham and Brentford, but, within three years, he was back in north London where he spent another 14 seasons, this time in a coaching capacity. He went on to enjoy a managerial career in his own right, having spells at Newcastle United, Birmingham City, Norwich City and most recently, Brighton, who he guided into the Premier League in 2017.
