The Pat Staunton Hotspur Cup was held at St Edmunds College in Ware, Hertfordshire in August and climaxed in exciting finals for budding footballers from age ranges Under-8 to Under-13.

On an entertaining weekend of action teams came from far and wide - Birmingham, Bournemouth, Leicester, Berkshire and even a team touring the UK from Canada - to compete for trophies and medals.

The Pat Staunton Hotspur Cup was formerly known as The Hotspur Cup but is now dedicated to Pat's memory after he sadly passed away last year.

Pat was a former member of the Tottenham Hotspur Football Development Team as well as the Under 12's Academy team coach. He was a great friend to many at the Club as well as throughout football and was always seen at the Hotspur Cup encouraging young players.

Pat will always be sadly missed but his memory will live on through this annual tournament - and which we had the pleasure of welcoming his wife Deny and children Charlie, Joe and Grace as guests of honour at where they awarded the trophies to the winners and runners up at the finals.

Congratulations to all the winners, who were as follows:

Under 8's - Chelmsford City Youth

Under 9's - Ryan FC

Under 10's - World Soccer Solutions

Under 11's - Byron/Technique

Under 12's - Barnet Azzurri

Under 13's - Godmanchester Rovers
