New contract for Walker

Mon 28 October 2013, 15:00|Tottenham Hotspur

We are delighted to announce that Kyle Walker has signed a new contract, committing his future to the Club until 2019.

The England international signed for us from Sheffield United in July, 2009 and following a loan back at Bramall Lane along with spells at Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa, he has gone on to make the right-back berth his own, making more appearances for Spurs than any other player last season.

Voted Young Player of the Year by the Professional Footballers' Association in 2012, Kyle has made a total of 112 appearances in our colours, scoring twice including a stunning winner in the north London derby at home to Arsenal in October, 2011, which went on to be voted Goal of the Season by our Supporters Clubs.
