Tottenham HotspurTim Sherwood revealed that Emmanuel Adebayor is 'still struggling' but hasn't ruled out the striker returning to action against Liverpool on Sunday.
Ade has missed our last two fixtures with a heel injury. "We’re hoping Ade can make it but he has a nasty cut at the back of his heel," reported Head Coach Tim after training on Friday.
"The question is whether or not we leave him out for another week, let it heal a little better or put him back in and (the threat that) it might open up again."
Mousa Dembele has the benefit of a full week's training after coming off at half-time in last week's win against Southampton while Vlad Chiriches - out for two months - returns to action for our Under-21s against Arsenal on Friday night.
Kyle Walker (pelvis) and Erik Lamela (back) remain sidelined.
