Lads are 'very disappointed' - Mousa

Mon 22 September 2014, 13:11|Tottenham Hotspur

Mousa Dembele was quick to talk about the players’ desire to move on from Sunday’s defeat against West Brom with another big week looming.

The lads were not hiding from the fact it was a disappointing display against the Baggies as James Morrison’s 74th-minute header consigned us to a 1-0 loss at the Lane.

Now we face Championship leaders Nottingham Forest in the third round of the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night before a trip to the Emirates on Saturday.

“There are some tough games coming and we’ll do everything to win these games,” said Mousa.

“The positive thing is that we have another match coming very quickly but it’s not going to be easy against Forest.”

Mousa was understandably low after the performance against West Brom.

“It’s difficult to talk after a game like this,” he explained. “I didn’t think we started too badly but we didn’t create too many chances. In the second half we didn’t play that well.

“Everyone in the dressing room is very disappointed and we know have to win these types of games.”
