Ladies sign WSL striker
15 July 2016|Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs Ladies have secured the signature of experienced striker Cheryl Williams from the Women's Super League (WSL).
Formerly with Watford and Barnet, Cheryl helped Reading to third place in WSL2 in 2014 before joining London Bees in the same division last year.
"Cheryl brings bags of experience to the club," said Spurs Ladies manager Karen Hills. "She's very talented, has a great left foot, a good eye for goal and she will bring that level of composure and quality to our forward play.
"She also brings an understanding of the game that will prove invaluable."
Cheryl is set to make her debut in the friendly against Gillingham on Sunday with the team kicking-off their FA Women's Premier League campaign against Swindon at Cheshunt FC on August 28 (2pm).
Meanwhile, Avilla Bergin has left for Charlton and twins Mollie and Rosie Kmita are taking a year out of football to concentrate on their studies.
