Lucia Leon struck four goals as Tottenham Hotspur Ladies toppled Enfield 7-0 in the FA Women's Premier League Cup on Sunday.
The team's attacking players have been on song so far this season and Lucia led the way this time with the prolific Wendy Martin, Bianca Baptiste and impressive summer arrival Avilla Bergin also on target.
Manager Karen Hills gave us this report. "We controlled the game from the first whistle and it took us 13 minutes to open the scoring as Katie O'Leary threaded a pass through to Avilla who took on the full-back before smashing home at the near post.
"Lucia's first goal was a fine solo effort on 24 minutes and her second the pick of the bunch, a great team build-up executed in style as Leah Rawle found her on the edge of the box and she turned and powered her shot past the goalkeeper.
"Natalie Crafton came on for Jenni Schillaci at half-time and we continued to keep the ball well and create opportunities in the second half.
"Bianca came on for Avilla on 62 minutes and within three minutes she used her pace to beat the full-back and delivered the cross for Lucia's hat-trick and 4-0.
"Five minutes later Bianca drove forward again, this time the goalkeeper couldn't hold her shot and Lucia was there for her fourth and our fifth.
"Bianca was rewarded for her efforts with a goal after an assist from Wendy and Wendy wrapped up the scoring after converting Leanne Mabey's cross.
"It was a good team performance and I was really impressed with Lucia, not just her goals but her work rate was outstanding. It was definitely her best performance in a Spurs shirt."
The ladies make a quick return to action the FA Women's Premier League South with a derby against West Ham at Aveley FC on Thursday night, kick-off 7.45pm.
