A number of players made their first appearance of pre-season as we kicked-off our Vodacom Challenge bid against Kaizer Chiefs in Durban. Paul Robinson starts in goal with Jermaine Jenas, Dimitar Berbatov and Wayne Routledge all in the starting line-up at the impressive ABSA Stadium.

60.14: GOAL - SPURS. Bent onto Ifil's fine pass, into box, unselfishly squared to Berbatov who tapped into open goal.

56.40: SUB - SPURS. Bent for Routledge.
54.13: SAVE - ROBINSON. Bhasera cross from left angling towards top corner, Robinson watched all the way and made fine tip over.

49.45: GOAL - CHIEFS. Bhasera chased down ball on left and did well to reach it, let alone dig out a cross from the byline that Bartlett headed home at near post.

39.10: GOAL - SPURS. Rocha won challenge on half-way, ball landed at Keane's feet in box, no offside flag this time, superb control, lifted over Baron and home.

37.37: CLOSE - SPURS. Ifil, Malbranque and Keane involved, Keane whipped in great cross from left that Berbatov glanced towards goal, ball flew inches wide.
34.58: Another offside shocker as Keane clearly came from behind two defenders to chase Malbranque's pass, but flag up again.
34.02: Robinson out to collect Bartlett's cross.
33.50: Mooki curled free-kick from 25 yards a couple of yards over.
32.55: Khanyeza shot deflected for corner, kick cleared by Zokora.
31.47: YELLOW CARD - SPURS. Keane for protests.
31.40: Patient build-up before Gardner fine pass over the top looked to release Keane, waved for offside but again, wrong decision.
28.43: Crunching tackle between Bartlett and Zokora leaves Bartlett holding his head, he's okay.
25.39: Rocha pass over to the top looking for Routledge, Ngobese cleared from deep in half.
23.50: Berbatov climbed high to flick on long ball, forcing corner. Keane's corner cleared, Zokora attempted pass back to him went out of play.
22.11: Khanyeza looked to slide in Zwame, Robinson out to collect.
18.52: Pressing from Chiefs forced Gardner to head out for corner. Corner cleared by Berbatov.
17.07: Berbatov threaded fine pass through to breaking Jenas, who is flagged offside - replays show he was clearly on.
16.28: Robinson darted out of area to clear ball over the top.
15.40: Towering header from Dawson found Keane, control and hacked down.
14.03: Good pressing from Zokora and Jenas but Chiefs decent football opened up shooting chance for Khanyeza, who fired high and wide.
11.54: Keane after Berbatov's pass inside box forced a corner, which came to nothing.
10.58: Mooki deep cross looking for Zwame, good defending from Ifil made sure came to nothing.
8.10: Malbranque won possession in midfield, fed Keane, he looked for Berbatov but pass cut out.
6.30: First touch for Robinson, header back from Dawson.
4.44: Berbatov cross aiming for Keane forced rushed clearance from Nzama.
4.22: SUB - SPURS. Gardner for Kaboul.
3.33: Long pass from Dawson picked out Ifil, great control, won corner.
2.50: YELLOW CARD - CHIEFS. Zwane for hacking down Malbranque.
25secs: Early whack in the face for Kaboul from Bartlett's stray boot, accidental but leaves the centre-back a bit dazed.
