JD's praise for Andros

Jermain Defoe paid tribute to Andros Townsend as the young winger joined him and Kyle Walker in the England squad for key World Cup qualifiers this week.
A foot injury to Aaron Lennon after the opening match of the season opened the door for Andros and he’s charged through.
He produced the stand-out performance in his first start of the campaign - a goal and two assists in the Europa League play-off against Dinamo Tbilisi - and hasn’t looked back.
Since opening weekend, he’s started each of our six Premier League matches and really caught the eye with his direct style and willingness to take his man on.
His form was rewarded with a call into the last England squad and he’s there again for the matches that will decided England’s World Cup qualifying fate - Montenegro on Friday and Poland next Tuesday, both at Wembley.
Two wins and England will secure a place in next summer’s finals in Brazil.
“It’s great for Andros to be involved again,” said Jermain.
“He’s been outstanding and for a young player to come into the team and have that consistency, staying in the team and playing like he did against teams like Chelsea, that’s fantastic. He was one of best players on the pitch that day.
“Kyle is there again, he’s played so many games on the bounce now and is physically so strong. In the modern-day game, he’s the perfect athlete.
“All three of us are in there and hopefully we’ll get the chance to show what we can do.”
Andros will be looking for his first senior cap, Kyle his ninth and Jermain number 55, he’s scored 19 goals in 54 caps so far.
