We have reached agreement for the permanent transfer of Lee Barnard to Southend United.

We have reached agreement for the permanent transfer of Lee Barnard to Southend United.Academy product Lee broke into the first-team at the end of the 2005/06 season, making his debut as a substitute against Manchester United and featured in a further two Premier League games against Bolton Wanderers and West Ham United.

‘Barney’ has also previously picked up league experience during loan spells at Leyton Orient, Northampton Town and Crewe Alexandra.
