All about pride
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
John Gorman says the lads are determined to restore their dented pride at Chelsea next week.
The biggest game of the season so far comes straight after the most disappointing - last week's 3-0 home defeat against Fulham.
We can take heart from our last visit to Stamford Bridge - a 1-1 draw back in February - but this will be a completely different proposition against a club now seen as the biggest financial force in football.
Owner Roman Abramovic has weighed out over £100m on the likes of Veron, Cole, Duff, Geremi and, most recently, the double-header of Hernan Crespo and Claude Makelele.
"We're all disappointed after the Fulham game but we've worked hard this week. We're aiming to bounce straight back," insisted assistant boss John.
"They are the multi-millionaires now and I'm sure everyone will want to beat them but in terms of atmosphere this won't be any different - it's always special against Chelsea.
"Our fans will be there again and I'm sure they will be right behind us. They always are, like they were at Liverpool and Birmingham where they were magnificent.
"We owe them one because of the last home game and we'll go there and have a real go at getting our pride back."
