Reach your potential with our Development Coaches

Tottenham Hotspur's Global Football Development Philosophy

The Club is renowned across the globe for developing talented young players for both Club and country. This includes current First Team players such as Harry Kane, Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga.

Global Football Development brings the Club’s football philosophy to life at the grassroots level, delivering engaging coaching programmes to players of all abilities with a firm focus on maximising every attendee’s potential. All development programmes are built around:

Coaching from authentic, experienced and highly skilled FA & UEFA-qualified coaches from the Club who are fully integrated into the Tottenham Hotspurs' overarching coach development model.
The Spurs Way
Academy-endorsed programmes which align with the Club’s track record of developing young players with flair, fluidity, bravery
on the ball and nurturing the attacking football associated with Tottenham Hotspur.
Progression & Development
A focus on maximising every attendee’s potential not just as a player but as a confident individual, with a clear progression pathway for aspiring players from grassroots to elite.
All our programmes create a holistic environment that is safe, inclusive, enjoyable and engaging for all players. We focus on having fun whilst continually challenging to improve.

Player Development Pathways

The Global Football Development Programme ensures a competitive environment to maximise the individuals’ potential. Working closely with both our Academy and Women’s Junior Talent Pathway, our programmes are designed with the aim to improve and support the individual progression of all players through the development levels and through our player pathways that are inspired by the Club’s player development framework.

Player development is at the heart of the Club and is a significant point of difference for us on and off the pitch. The Global Development team impact circa 6,500 players annually and demonstrates year-on-year growth. Technical sessions are delivered by our FA and UEFA-qualified coaches who take inspiration from our Men’s and Women’s First Team training methods to help develop every player that takes part on our programmes.

The Club has a fantastic track record in developing young players through its Academy...we aim to take these methods throughout the world
