Initially starting her Spurs journey in mid-2000s as part of our Under-10s at the time, Molly Bartrip returned to become a focal part of our stability in the Women’s Super League has since surpassed a century of appearances for the club.
Arriving from Reading during their time in England’s top flight, the experienced centre-back has always been a consistent performer throughout her years of wearing the Lilywhite shirt, including playing every single minute for us in the WSL in 2021/22 and 2024/25 – the only player to have achieved that for the club since our promotion in 2019.
Named the vice-captain for the 2023/24 campaign, Molly has worn the armband on a number of occasions, providing leadership to existing and new players in the squad, while she has championed work away from the pitch to raise awareness around the importance of mental health, winning the PFA Community Champion in 2022.
