Signing her first professional contract with the club in February 2024, Araya Dennis made her debut, in an impressive second half display against Charlton Athletic at The Valley.
Known for her pace and tactical flexibility, Araya is a versatile forward who has showcased her ability to play both defensive and attacking roles on the international youth stage. Since arriving in north London, the 20-year-old has made nine appearances in total, scoring her first goal for the Club in a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in the Women's League Cup in December, 2025.
Spurs Career
2025/26 – Seven appearances, made her first WSL start in September, 2025.
2024/25 – Two appearances, scored her first goal for the club in the Women’s League Cup in December, 2024, before spending the rest of the season at Southampton.
2023/24 – Signed her first professional contract with us, rejoined Crystal Palace on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
Life before Spurs
Araya spent her youth career at Arsenal with a spell at Watford, while also representing England at youth level. Competing for Crystal Palace during the first half of the 2023/24 campaign, she then joined us in February, 2024, before returning to the Eagles on loan for the remainder of the season, helping Laura Kaminski’s side gain promotion to the WSL for the first time in their history.
International
She has represented England at Under-17 and Under-19 level. Dennis was a part of the squad for the UEFA Women’s Under-19 European Championships in May, 2024. In September, 2023, she scored two goals on her Under-19s debut in a 5-1 win over Denmark.
