The versatile midfielder/defender was named Official Supporters’ Clubs’ Player of the Season, One Hotspur Members’ Player of the Season and One Hotspur Junior Members’ Player of the Season.
Archie opened his goalscoring account for us with a big winner at Palace in December, 2025. His 35 appearances mean he's up to 81 appearances for us in all competitions – all aged just 20. Add that to the 52 appearances he made for Leeds before joining us in the summer of 2024 and he’s up to 133 career appearances already in his fledgling career.
An experienced head on young shoulders, Archie was named captain for our pre-season tour matches against Auckland FC, Sydney FC and Chelsea in the summer of 2026.

2025/26 – 35 appearances, 2 goals, including 23 apps in PL and 9 in UCL.
2024/25 – 46 appearances, 11 apps in UEL, substitute appearance in UEL final.
Life before Spurs
Archie is part of the Gray footballing dynasty at Leeds – his father Andy, grandfather Frank and great uncle Eddie all notably played for the club. Born in Durham, Archie joined Leeds at Under-9 level and was part of a matchday squad in the Premier League aged just 15 in 2021. He eventually made his debut on the opening day of 2023/24, making 52 appearances in all competitions as Leeds reached the play-off final at Wembley. His performances led to him being named Championship Young Player of the Season.

Archie has represented England throughout the younger age groups and was named in the Under-21 squad for the UEFA Under-21 finals in the summer of 2025, making three appearances as the Young Lions retained their crown in Bratislava, beating Germany 3-2 (AET) in the final.
