Harry Byrne

Born in Croydon, he is a left-footed box-to-box midfielder and a dead ball specialist who has also featured frequently as an inverted left-back in recent seasons.

Harry made his Under-18s debut when a particularly young team was fielded in an Under-18 Premier League Cup group stage tie at Barnsley in December, 2023.

After going full-time in the summer of 2024, he began featuring regularly for our Under-18s and was part of the team that won the Under-17 Premier League Cup in 2024/25, scoring a memorable free-kick in the final against Charlton Athletic.

Turning professional in May, 2025, he continued to play regularly for our Under-18s in 2025/26, a season which also saw him earn his first international opportunity with the Republic of Ireland Under-19s.

In July, 2026, he featured for our first team on the pre-season tour of New Zealand and Australia.
