A powerhouse forward, Cathinka Tandberg completed a lifelong dream when she joined Spurs in September, 2025, from Swedish side Hammarby IF.
Her journey to Spurs began as a 10-year-old when she first visited our iconic former home, White Hart Lane, with her dad to watch our UEFA Europa League clash against Besiktas in October, 2014. She turned to her dad and said, ‘I’m going to play here one day’ and, eleven years later, she has realised that dream.
Becoming a Lilywhite ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, Tinka enjoyed a remarkable start to her first season in England, scoring three goals in her opening five games, including a stunning 40-yard strike at Everton in September, 2025, to open her account for the club. She ended her maiden term at Spurs with six goals in 24 appearances.

Life before Spurs
Her journey began at Heming followed by Stabaek, before securing a move to Toppserien (Norway’s top flight) side Lyn at the age of 16, where she spent two years at the Club and scored five goals.
She joined Swedish side Linkoping in 2023 and enjoyed an impressive maiden campaign, netting 19 goals to win the league’s golden boot. Having netted 22 goals in 49 appearances during her time at Linkoping, the striker made the switch to Hammarby IF midway through the 2024 campaign and scored nine goals in 11 Swedish top-flight games.
During her time in Stockholm, she featured 37 times in all competitions, scoring 19 goals in total, with 10 of those appearances coming in the UEFA Champions League group stage where she found the back of the net on five occasions in Europe.
International
Having represented Norway at Under-19 and Under-23 level, Cathinka made her senior international debut against France in October, 2023, and has eight senior caps for her country to date.
