Joining us midway through the 2025/26 campaign, Julie Blakstad made 13 appearances in total as she became a vital asset to Martin Ho’s side for the second half of the campaign.
Making the switch back to England, having previously been with Manchester City earlier in her career, the Norway international provided cover in both attacking and defensive positions to help us record our best-ever season to date in England’s top flight, scoring once in our 7-3 win at Aston Villa in February, 2026.

Life before Spurs
Beginning her footballing days with Ottestad IL before switching to FL Fart in Norway’s top division, Julie went on to join Rosengard and spent one-and-a-half years at the club, scoring 19 goals in 37 appearances, including making her UEFA Women’s Champions League debut. She then joined Manchester City in January, 2022, and in her 13 months in Manchester, she helped her side to the Women’s League Cup. Having a loan spell with BK Hacken for 2023 campaign before returning to City for the first half of 2023/24, Julie made the switch to Hammarby IF in January, 2024, where she scored 36 goals in 75 appearances.
International
Julie made her senior debut for Norway came in October, 2020, against Wales in a game that secured her nation’s spot at the 2022 European Championship. Julie would go on to score her nation’s first goal in the tournament against Northern Ireland and went on to feature at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
