Richy started our crucial last four matches, including heading home a massive goal in our pivotal 2-1 win at Villa Park on 3 May. That took his tally to 11 in the Premier League and his 43 appearances represent a personal best for a season at Spurs. Another note – Richy’s goal at Chelsea on 19 May was our 2,000th in the Premier League.
Capped 54 times by Brazil, scoring an impressive 20 goals, Richy joined us from Everton in July, 2022. A UEL winner with us in 2025, Richy returned from injury to play a huge role in that run to glory, his physicality key in the semi-final win over Bodo/Glimt before running himself into the ground in the final against United in Bilbao.

Life before Spurs
Born in Nova Venécia, Richy began his youth career at Real Noroeste and América Futebol Clube, making his professional debut in July, 2015. He joined Fluminense in January, 2016, scoring 11 goals in 46 appearances and was named in the Campeonato Carioca Team of the Year. In August, 2017, he made the switch to Watford, his displays earning a move to Everton in July, 2018. Richy hit double figures in three of the four seasons on Merseyside, notably scoring huge goals as the Toffees climbed out of trouble in 2021/22.
Brazil
Richarlison made his senior debut for Brazil in September, 2018. He was part of the Brazil squad that won the 2019 Copa America, scoring in the final against Peru. He was tournament top scorer with five goals as Brazil won the 2020 Olympic title. Wearing the coveted #9 shirt at the 2022 World Cup, Richy scored one of the goals of the tournament, a volley against Serbia, shortlisted for the 2022 FIFA Puskas Award. At the end of 2025/26, Richy had 54 caps to his name, scoring 20 goals.
