Tour 2018 - Sonny surprises fans in Koreatown

Heung Min-Son paid a surprise visit to MLS team LAFC's Korean Supporters Club - as a thanks from the LA club's Mexican supporters.

Sonny secured a famous 2-0 win for South Korea against Germany at this summer's World Cup, a result that saw Mexico progress to the knockout stage of the tournament in Russia.

The victory strengthened the bond between LAFC's Korean Supporters Club - the first Korean Supporters' Club in the MLS - and its Mexican fanbase.

LAFC's Mexican supporters and LA Spurs - our official supporters' club in LA - hatched a secret plan to get Sonny along to the Koreatown neighbourhood in Central LA and the plan worked to perfection!

Not surprisingly, the Korean fans gave Sonny a hero's reception with many members quite overwhelmed by the whole experience.

Sonny posed for photographs and signed autographs for all the supporters before interviews with a huge Korean media presence, all of whom who had been sworn to secrecy!
