Grant puts pen to paper

We are delighted to announce that we have signed Australian international Charlotte Grant, subject to work permit and international clearance.

The 22-year-old full-back has joined us following the expiration of her contract with Vittsjö GIK, and her deal with us runs until 2026.

Born in Adelaide, South Australia, Charlotte signed for Adelaide United in October, 2018, and made her debut for The Reds just a month later, going on to make 34 league appearances for the Australian side before heading overseas.

The defender joined Swedish side Rosengård in April, 2021, before later moving on loan to fellow Swedish club Vittsjö GIK, where she permanently moved to the club in January, 2023, making 23 appearances last season.

Charlotte represents Australia at senior level, making her debut in 2021 and scored her first goal for the Matildas in a 2-0 win over England in London back in April, 2023.

She was also part of the Matildas squad that reached the semi-finals of the, 2023, FIFA World Cup. The defender has made 21 international appearances to date, scoring one goal.
