Tottenham HotspurWe are delighted to announce the signing of Luana Bühler from 1899 Hoffenheim.
The experienced Swiss international defender has signed a contract with us until June 2025, subject to international clearance and work permit.
The 27-year-old began her career with FC Zürich before joining Hoffenheim in 2018.
She made four appearances for Zürich in the UEFA Women’s Champions League and was part of the squad that won the Nationalliga A Women as well as the Schweizer Pokal Frauen.
In the last five seasons, Bühler has made 100 appearances in all competitions for Hoffenheim, including eight in the Champions League, scoring six goals. She has also worn the captain’s armband for Hoffenheim, who came fourth in the Frauen-Bundesliga in 2022/23.
After making six appearances for Switzerland’s Under-19s team, Bühler has gone on to earn 40 caps at senior level in all competitions, most recently in the FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers, and she has been called up for the tournament in Australia and New Zealand this summer.
