Antonio Conte wants the players to take the positives and address the negatives from Thursday night's defeat at City as we face resurgent Fulham in the Premier League on Monday night (8pm).

Antonio described the first half display at the Etihad as ‘perfect’ as we kept City at bay and then struck twice quickly just before the break to lead 2-0 going into half-time.

City hit back to level at the start of the second half, we then struck the woodwork at 2-2 before City took the lead and then secured victory with a late fourth goal.

Fulham are in form, have won four of their last five, including victory over Chelsea last time out at Craven Cottage, and sitting seventh, two points behind us in fifth.

If we go there with this personality and we pay more attention, we use what happened (at City) to improve the team, I think we can get a good result

“You have to build the game against Fulham and to keep in consideration the first half,” said Antonio. “Then, give consideration to the second half and you have to take the positive situation and the negative situation.

“I watched the game in the second half, but they (City) shot four times and they scored four times. They didn't dominate the game, or we suffered to stay behind with a lot of chances for them. The game was really, really balanced. When we were 2-2, we had a massive, massive chance to go 3-2 and I think also it could be a different situation.

“I have to analyse the situation. In the last two games we played against the first and the second. In my opinion, we showed we can play and get good results but, at the same time, there are a lot of situations that we have to improve, otherwise you don't lose both games.

“In the Premier League, it’s full of difficult games. We have to stick together, to fight, to understand that the situation won’t be easy. If we go there with this personality and we pay more attention, we use what happened (at City) to improve the team, I think we can get a good result.”
