Under-21s’ Premier League Cup fixtures for 2023/24 revealed

The opponents and fixture dates for our Under-21s in this season’s Premier League Cup have today been announced.

Winners of the Under-17 and Under-18 versions of the competition last season, we’re set to enter the Under-21 instalment for the first time ever in 2023/24 and have been placed into Group E along with Bristol City, Peterborough United and Sunderland.

The tournament sees the 32 participating teams from the Premier League 2 and Professional Development League divided into eight groups of four. Each team will play their three opponents at home and away (six matches in total), with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage of the competition in 2024.

Our entry comes in addition to our participation in the newly-reformatted Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy.
