Heung-Min Son has moved ahead of Jermain Defoe and now stands alone in sixth place on our all-time goalscoring list.
Sonny's equaliser as we came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 against Manchester United in the Premier League on Thursday night was his 144th for the Club in all competitions, one ahead of Jermain's 143. Signed from Bayer Leverkusen in September, 2015, the South Korea skipper has reached 144 in 367 appearances since making a goalscoring debut against Qarabag in the Europa League on 17 September, 2015.
Sonny, who recently became only the second player to score 100-plus goals for the Club in the Premier League, behind Harry Kane - Sonny now has 102, Harry is on 207 - is 15 goals away from double hero Cliff Jones and a place in our all-time top five. Cliff, now 88, is fifth with 159 goals in 378 appearances.
