Jess recognised at London Football Awards

Fri 04 March 2022, 08:05|Tottenham Hotspur

Jess Naz has been named Women’s Young Player of the Year at this season’s London Football Awards.

Still only 21 years of age, despite having been a key member of our Women’s first team squad for a number of seasons already, the attacking midfielder has shown her influence and ability whenever called upon by Rehanne Skinner during our excellent campaign in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League to date.

She was unveiled as the winner of the award at a special ceremony at The Roundhouse in Camden on Thursday night (3 March).

Our own Esther Morgan, currently on loan at Leicester City, and West Ham’s Mel Filis were also in contention for the prize, while men’s players Hugo Lloris and Oliver Skipp were shortlisted for Goalkeeper of the Year and Men’s Young Player of the Year respectively.

Independently judged by figures across the game in the capital, the London Football Awards commend the very best of football in the area over the course of a season.
