208 and 20x7 - Harry's latest stats

Mon 08 February 2021, 16:15|Tottenham Hotspur

As well as paving the way for a deserved victory, Harry Kane's goal in our 2-0 win against West Brom on Sunday was significant for the striker on two fronts.

First, his clinical finish from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's pass to open the scoring took him to 208 goals for the Club, now joint-second all-time with double-winning great Bobby Smith.

Bobby racked up his goals in 317 appearances between 1955-1964 - incredibly, Harry has matched his 208 total in the same number of appearances, 317, since making his debut in 2011. Jimmy Greaves remains top with 266 goals for Spurs.

Secondly, Harry's goal took him to 20 for the seventh successive season. He became the first player to score 20-plus goals in five successive seasons in 2018/19 - he's now stretched that run to seven.
