Eleanor Heeps joins Spurs Women

We are delighted to announce the signing of Eleanor Heeps.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper has signed a contract until 2024 and will join FA Women’s Championship side Blackburn Rovers on loan for the 2021/22 season.

An England Under-19 international, Eleanor arrives after five years in the Liverpool academy where she progressed from the under-14s to the First Team squad.

Eleanor said: “I’m so happy to have signed for Spurs. The Club is ambitious and I’m excited about the plans that Rehanne has here. I am really looking forward to learning as much as I can from both the staff and the players.”

Head Coach Rehanne Skinner said: “Eleanor is a fantastic young goalkeeper with lots of potential and I am really pleased to have her with us here at Spurs. She is at the start of her senior career, and we identified her as a key player to invest in for the future. Eleanor will gain opportunities to learn the Spurs way whilst gaining all important match minutes at Blackburn to help her overall development. We are really excited about her future.”
