Anna Filbey pens new deal

We are delighted to announce that Anna Filbey has signed a new contract with the Club that will run until 2021, with the option to extend for a further year.

The 20-year-old joined us from Arsenal two years ago and was part of our 2018/19 squad that gained promotion to the Barclays FA Women’s Super League (WSL).

The central defender signed her first full-time professional contract at the Club ahead of our debut campaign in the WSL and established herself as a mainstay in the side, making 16 appearances in all competitions.

Last season also saw Anna earn her first senior international caps for Wales in wins against Belarus and Estonia.

Since being here, I feel I have grown massively as a player and learnt a lot.

Anna said: “I am really happy to have signed a new deal because I’ve loved every minute at Spurs so far. Since being here, I feel I have grown massively as a player and learnt a lot. We have a great group of players and staff that all want to succeed and being in that type of environment is one that really motivates me to improve and drives me to want to support my team-mates even more.”
