Walkes makes permanent Pompey switch

We have reached agreement with League One side Portsmouth for the permanent transfer of Anton Walkes.
A product of our Academy, Anton made his first team debut for us in an EFL Cup victory over Gillingham in September, 2016, and spent the majority of 2017 on loan at MLS expansion side Atlanta United where he made 23 appearances, scoring twice.
In January this year, he linked up with Pompey on loan and scored on his debut against Doncaster Rovers, going on to make 12 starts in League One.
