New stadium - pitch trays moving into position
We’ve another milestone at our world-class new stadium this week – with the NFL pitch now complete, the sliding pitch trays that will carry the turf are being moved into position.
Designed, engineered, built and installed by Sheffield-based engineering specialist SCX, the ground-breaking retractable pitch at our new home is made up of three huge sliding pitch trays – these trays made up of 33 smaller trays.
